You can find the advice here:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhsinform.scot\/illnesses-and-conditions\/infections-and-poisoning\/coronavirus-covid-19\">https:\/\/www.nhsinform.scot\/illnesses-and-conditions\/infections-and-poisoning\/coronavirus-covid-19<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">The advice is now that you should self-isolate for seven days if you have\u00a0<strong>any new symptoms:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">a high temperature<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">a new cough<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">Please do not call 111 unless your symptoms start to worsen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><em>\u201cPeople who are self-isolating should remain at home and should not go to work, school or public areas.\u00a0 You should avoid close contact with others by:<\/em><em><span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em><span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">avoiding having visitors<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">not using taxis or public transport<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">asking a friend or neighbour to get any shopping you require, or arranging for a delivery that can be left at your door<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">avoiding intimate contact<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">not sharing towels, clothes, toothbrushes or razors.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">In any case, it is essential to practice good hand hygiene by regularly washing your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water is not available then use suitable alcohol hand sanitiser as an alternative.
