{"id":4063,"date":"2018-11-20T21:13:35","date_gmt":"2018-11-20T20:13:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/gc\/LourdesSecondarySchool\/?p=4063"},"modified":"2018-12-18T12:29:48","modified_gmt":"2018-12-18T11:29:48","slug":"s3-parents-evening-tuesday-4-december","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/gc\/LourdesSecondarySchool\/2018\/11\/20\/s3-parents-evening-tuesday-4-december\/","title":{"rendered":"S3 Parents Evening &amp; Careers Fayre Tuesday 4 December"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our S3 Parents Evening will take place on <strong>Tuesday 4 December<\/strong> from <strong>5 to 7pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>We have also organised a Careera Fayre to run <strong>simultaneously<\/strong> on this night.<\/p>\n<p>The Careers Fayre will have information and stalls on careers, further education courses and next steps from a wide range of establishments and organisations.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The will be representation and information from:\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>Glasgow University, Kelvin College, the BBC, the NHS, Police Scotland, the Army, the Fire Service, construction and sports apprenticeships<\/strong> among many others.<\/p>\n<p>This will be held in the Canteen and SS Hall in the school. The Careers Fayre will <strong>start at 4:30pm<\/strong> to allow parents and pupils time to view all information available prior to teacher appointments, <strong>however it will also run for the duration of the Parents Evening so please feel free to drop in and out between appointments as and when possible.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is a brilliant opportunity to seek extra guidance and support relating to subject choices for S4 and beyond.
