1. PROXY AUTHENTICATION REQUIRED<\/h1>\n

If \u201cProxy Authentication Required<\/b>\u201d does appear on the iPad pupils should take the following steps:<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Click settings<\/p>\n

Type in School Computer Username<\/p>\n

Type in School Computer Password<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

2. PROXY AUTHENTICATION REAPPEARS<\/h1>\n

If \u201c<\/span>Proxy Authentication Required<\/b>\u201d reappears it may be down to the fact that the iPad software needs updated therefore pupils should take the following steps:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Go to Settings<\/p>\n

General<\/p>\n

Software Update<\/p>\n

Click Update<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

3. NO INTERNET ACCESS<\/h1>\n

If pupils are unable to access the Internet, it may be that they have clicked \u201cnot now\u201d on the Proxy Authentication Required, therefore they should take the following steps:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Go to Settings<\/p>\n

Safari<\/p>\n

Click on Clear History and Website Data<\/p>\n

Power off iPad<\/p>\n

Power iPad back on<\/p>\n

Click on Safari app<\/p>\n

Proxy will appear a final time and school details should be entered (Username and password for school computer)<\/p>\n
