Update: Cat and Dog Home Appeal
Just a huge thank you to all who donated blankets, towels, sheets, jackets, food and toys to the Cat and Dog Home appeal. Some of the S3 and S5 girls visited the home this morning to deliver the donations. The staff wanted to extend their gratitude and appreciation and they commented on how large a donation we had collected.
Thanks again for your help and support with this appeal.
Fairtrade Fayre
The Justice and Peace Group will be selling fairly traded products from the Rainbow Turtle shop in Paisley throughout Lunchtime on Friday 29th November in the Social Area. Goods on sale will include Tea, Coffee, Confectionery, Advent Calendars and Christmas Cards and Jewellery and Gift Wrap. This has become an annual Lourdes Secondary event and thanks to the support from staff and pupils, the 40 minute sale has brought in more than a normal day’s takings for the Fairtrade shop. Please bring in a bit of extra cash as you have done in previous years ( ‘Plastic’ can be accommodated for the first time so a card will do)
Thanking you for your anticipated generosity and continued support,
B Sharps Rehearsal

Our Caritas students will also lead a short service over the tannoy.
Scottish SPCA
A huge thank you to those who have already donated!
The Cardonald Dog and Cat home is appealing for donations of new or old clean blankets, towels and sheets to be used for the animals in their care for the approaching cold winter weather. Please note, duvets or pillows cannot be used as the insides may be harmful to the animals if swallowed. Also donations of tins/cartons of dog or cat food will also be very much appreciated. This appeal will be running in the school for the few weeks and we will look to deposit any donations near the end of November. If you have any donations, please bring them to Miss McSween at the P.E Dept.
Thank you.
