YouTube Copywrite Issues

By Conner Dudfield

On YouTube there are many rules and regulations such as copywrite which can put hard working You Tubers out of business on the highly favourited website. For one person that means a lot to him and he has over 50,000 subscribers. His name is Daniel Bull.  It is basically his job yet he almost got sued for an audio clip involved in his music video. And of this he is now hated by most of the other musician’s fans.

A You Tuber called offlicalnerdcubed is hated for ‘’copying’’ other you tubers gamers such as PewDiePie and Bluexephos in playing games such as Mine Craft, Bully and Roller Coaster, Tycoon 3. This starts an internet war causing mass lag on YouTube servers and making channels go down in a fight with a more known channel such as Minnesota Burns. In most cases there is a small channel who posts a parody of a famous song and the artist ends up suing the small channel for large amounts of money. This leads to less people who are talented to go on YouTube, so they will have less of a chance of being discovered, and if they do go on YouTube they normally get their channel and all of their subscribers banned.
