Just when you thought St Andrew’s day couldn’t get more fun…🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🦄🦌

We were visited today by two gorgeous reindeers! They certainly made us feel a lot more festive and made for a FUN afternoon; visiting reindeers, Scottish Ceilidh dancing and then having some well deserved Irn-Bru and shortbread, yum!

If you’d like to buy a printed copy of your child’s photograph inside a frame with a glossy finish (£3) – please let me know!  📸 The money will go towards the school’s Parent Council.

Creating music on Garage Band 🎼🎷🎻🪕🪘🪗🎺🎹🥁🎸

We’ve been learning how to use the features of the Garage Band App to create our own piece of music.

We listened to different instruments and decided what instruments would work best in our piece of 1960s music. We considered the rhythm of our music as well as making sure the beat of the music sounded good.
Also, we chose the genre we thought fit best in with our 1960s music sound.

Videos for Fire Safety.

We used our creative digital skills to make videos to inform people how to stay safe during Bonfire Night.

We had to work together in our groups, read and follow the instructions and then decide how we were going to deliver the information via video.

It was fun to act out the instructions and good to use our digital skills to film and edit our clips.

Hussain Pupil of the Day 🥳🤩

Due to the fact that we had one dry day this week, we decided to take our PATHS lesson outside.

Hussain was Pupil of the Day and had a very special chair to sit in to receive his compliments from his classmates.

It was nice to have a change of scenery for this lesson and Hussain was delighted hearing all the positive things we all had to say about him.

In P6/7, we love giving compliments and making people feel happy. ‘Woop Woop!’

Mohamed Jomaa Pupil of the Day 🌟🌟

Mohamed Jomaa is learning at home and it was his turn for Pupil of the Day so we decided to call him via Teams and give him his compliments.

Not even distance can stop us giving our friends compliments. 💜💜

It was so special for us to share our compliments with Mohamed Jomaa at home and he told us he felt really happy after hearing all the nice things we had to say about him.
