Today we were practicing our team working skills by building shelters that would protect us from a storm.
We also learned some woodworking skills.
Hi,
Please remember it is outdoor learning for the next 2 weeks. It is very important your children come to school with warm clothes and proper shoes, wellies or walking boots are ideal. All should be bringing waterproofs to school too but a warm jumper is also a good idea as the weather is getting much colder.
Here are some pictures of our learning so far:
Hi,
P5 voted and we have decided to do a crazy hair casual dress day on Thursday 24th to raise money for the MacMillan cancer charity.
Pupils should bring £1 and come dressed in their own clothes with a crazy hairstyle.
There are also raffle tickets for sale in class, £1 for a strip of 5. Prizes will be drawn on Thursday 24th September.
Let’s all work together and see if we can raise lots of money for a fantastic charity.

Hi,
We are trying to make homework digital so the children can stay in the habit of learning online in case we have to lock down again.
From now on, we will be using Microsoft Teams to send and receive homework. Please can you get the app on your iPad or phone, or download the desktop version to your laptop or PC (it is free).
Your child will have their email address and password to log in. Please could you help them do this and leave a comment for me so I know you have managed to access our P5 Teams page.
Their homework has been set as an assignment but I have also posted it here too in case you have trouble accessing Teams.
This is the homework schedule:
Spelling:
Spelling 1 Green and Red groups
Spelling 1 Purple Orange and Blue groups
These are your creative topic tasks for the term:
Homework should be uploaded to the class’ Microsoft Teams page.
If you have any questions please email me at

Hi,
Normally at this time of year we invite you in to see your children learning and you can meet their teacher. Sadly, we cannot do that this year so we made a video for you instead.
