We’ve had great fun with wood and hammers to create our own artwork.

Watching the Scotland match and feeling very patriotic 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We have been learning all about Islamic art and we have created our own pieces of art using Arabic calligraphy, geometric patterns and vegetal patterns. We chose Arabic letters and words from names important to us and created designs based on the Tughra of Sultan Suleiman.

I am so pleased to announce that P5’s Diverse Forces library pitch won first prize in Glasgow’s Social Enterprise competition!!  I am so proud of the work they did to achieve this and it is a well deserved win for an excellent enterprise business idea. You can watch the pitch here:

We have been learning to use pulse, rhythm, pitch and dynamics to create our own short compositions.

We had a brilliant starter session with Barrowland Ballet today and can’t wait to film our dance with them from the 14th June.
