We have been learning outdoors with Miss Bull.
We were learning to build different types of dens!
We learned how to safely use a mallet without hurting people around us and learned all about our “blood bubbles” and how they keep us safe.

We learned how to use hammers and nails carefully to create these.

Primary 3 were learning to use adjectives in their writing today. We went outside to find nouns and then thought of words to describe them. Come have a look!
Primary 3 have been learning about the history of Lego as part of their topic.
They have been learning about how Lego became as popular as it did and found out that the creator only started making plastic Lego after his factory full of wooden toys burned down.
They recreated the factory fire using Lego bricks and coloured card.

P3 have been learning about 3D shapes and their properties.
They created 3D shapes using K’nex pieces to make their own 3D shapes and were able to identify the shape faces and edges.

We had an excellent celebration of World Book Day in P3 this week!
We were so cosy in our jammies and onesies and loved snuggling our teddy bears!
We read parts of our favourite books to each other and Mrs Harker even came to read to us!
Primary 3 created Diwali lanterns with Mrs Bryant to celebrate the festival.
They used a range of materials such as paint, card, glitter and felt to create the lanterns.
The finished product looks spectacular!
