P3 visited Square Park this afternoon to make the most of sunshine!

We managed to prove that we can be safe travellers as there were quite a few busy roads to cross.

We had fun playing on the equipment, playing football on the pitch and just relaxing enjoying nature!

P3 went to the Sensory Garden this afternoon to make some musical rhythms. We found objects to become our instruments and worked together to create rhythms.

We have recently started doing Number Talks in P3.

This gives us an opportunity to learn more about numbers and different ways to make different numbers.

Today, we tried to find lots of different ways to make the number 21. P3 were even challenged to try and make 21 using more than 1 operation. Wow did they impress!

P3 were using a search engine to find information today.

We decided to find out some information about some of the countries competing in the Euro 2020 such as the currency they use, traditional foods they may eat and holidays they celebrate. Have a look at us hard at work!

P3 started working with Duncan this week to compete in an Athletics competition. They were learning to do standing long jumps, shuttle runs and quick jumping. There are some great athletes in our class!

Primary 3 visited the park yesterday!

They played on lots of different equipment and had a fabulous time.

They also proved how safe they are at travelling as we had a busy road to cross to get there.

We created some models of what we want our new library to look like out of Lego!

We’ve spent time thinking about the furniture, layout and content of our new library and have been asking pupils all over the school about the genres of books they would like to see in the libraries.

We also plan to do some fundraising before the end of term to help with this too!

Primary 3 took part in planting some seeds yesterday.

We planted chives that we can hopefully eat when they have grown!

They take some time to grow so we will need to be patient until then!
