The children were dancing with the famous Kate this morning. They participated in traditional Indian and festive Christmas dances. It was a lot of fun!
Today we listened to traditional Scottish music and the Glaswegian Gruffalo story while tasting some traditional Scottish foods- shortbread and Irn-Bru 🏴.
Yesterday we had a lovely visit from Santa’s elves and some of his reindeer.
A big thank you to the parent council for organising this lovely treat!
During road safety week we had a visitor to discuss the dangers to be aware of when walking and cycling to school. We discussed the importance of stop, look, listen and think before we cross a road- even at a pelican crossing.
We had the opportunity to become a lollipop person and assist our friends to cross the ‘road’ and created posters to enter into the Road Safety poster competition. The winner will be announced Wednesday 2nd December.
To celebrate book week the children are invited to wear a Onsie or their pyjamas to school tomorrow. Remember to wear a warm water proof jacket as we will still be taking part in outdoor learning.
Thanks

Please find attached information on free, hot and nutritious food available in the local area during the school October break.
Hi, could everyone check that they have taken the correct jacket home with them over the last couple of days. Someone in class is missing a black winter jacket.
Also could I ask that all belongings such as water bottles, jumpers and jackets have children’s names on them please.
Thanks 😊
Thanks to everyone who took part in crazy hair day and donated money to a very worthy cause 😊
