During road safety week we had a visitor to discuss the dangers to be aware of when walking and cycling to school.  We discussed the importance of stop, look, listen and think before we cross a road- even at a pelican crossing.

We had the opportunity to become a lollipop person and assist our friends to cross the ‘road’ and created posters to enter into the Road Safety  poster competition. The winner will be announced Wednesday 2nd December.

To celebrate book week the children are invited to wear a Onsie or their pyjamas to school tomorrow. Remember to wear a warm water proof jacket as we will still be taking part in outdoor learning.

Hi everyone, I have had to reset all of the passwords today. I have printed off an A4 sheet for each pupil with the login details for glow/teams, Sumdog and bug club. If you are changing your password please write it on the A4 sheet and keep it safe. I cannot see the passwords once they have been changed.

We have been building up our cardio and coordination in gym by competing in obstacle courses. Today the obstacles course was made more challenging with a new layout and extra obstacles.

Everyone worked really well in their team and cheered each other on. Both teams won a round each which means everyone gets points!

Today we had a number warm up using top marks ordering game. The class enjoy this interactive game and like to challenge themselves with tricky questions.

We learned about partitioning today. This helps us to work out the answers to more tricky questions.

Today for our PATHS lesson we spoke about friendship. We reflected on what qualities make a good friend and then we drew our friends.

We decided that a friend :

• is helpful
• is kind
• is generous
• is someone who has a smiley face
• is funny
• plays with you
• helps you when you fall
• helps you to make new friends
• has short or long hair
• has different coloured eyes or hair to you
• wears colourful clothes

We have been learning about nouns this term. Today we went on a noun hunt in the school grounds and then Used the nouns to make Interesting sentences with adjectives.
