Good morning🤗
Todays tasks are going to be focusing on literacy and maths
Literacy
I thought today we could try a guided reading. This guided reading is based on mental health, as that is our focus of the week. Try and complete this task independently, however, if you need help you can ask someone at home. Additionally, Miss McCue has filmed herself reading the text and questions, so if you think you would benefit from listening to this then copy and paste the link onto your safari.

Here is the text and questions
Maths
Today I thought we could try multi step word problems. This means when answering each question you are using more than one operation. You all know what the four operations are, so why not start with addition, is there any phrases in the first question that link to addition? If not move onto subtraction, then division and then multiplication.
Finally, today is international dance day
Why not take a break from your work and dance. Why not get creative with your family and make a family dance, or maybe you just want to do a dance own your own. Either way, this is a fun activity that the whole family can get involved in. I would love to see videos or pictures of your dance, so remember you can email me them.
You do not have to do everything on the blog, but it is good to keep your brain active during this time.
