Another week of lots of learning in Class 2 –
- spelling words with our alphabet arc
- ordering days, months and seasons ad answering questions about these
- counting in 2s, 5s and 10s
- practicing adding and taking away 0, 1 and 2 quickly mentally
- reading our fiction texts and discussing them, focusing on why questions
- up-leveling sentences by changing the openers, adding adjectives and connectives
- learning about the Roman army and the different armour and weapons they had
- thinking about comfortable and uncomfortable feelings
- learning about safeguarding and what is meant by safe and harm
- working on athletics in P.E, practicing sprints, relays and hurdles

And……. we also started our work on the crafts for the Christmas Fair, as it is only a few weeks away! Working with Primary 6/7 we designed tealight holders and made hanging decorations for the Christmas Fair. We will be completing these over the next 2 weeks ready for the Fair on Friday 7th December đŸ™‚
