The children in St Albert’s have been having an extra play in the afternoons for the first few weeks of term to get some extra exercise. During the afternoon plays Isaac does his physio with Mrs Crosbie and Miss Hewitt using his two different walking frames.

He was very adventurous today and asked to walk the length of the classroom to sit on the couch – a place in the classroom he has never been before!

He put in an amazing effort to walk across the classroom, after already having done his usual walk in the corridor, and was delighted to get to sit down and relax on the couch for the first time ever! Doesn’t he look proud of himself?

All his friends in class were delighted for him too and we all spent a bit of time over in the corner on the couch chatting before home time 🙂
