Christmas Fayre and Topic photos

On Friday we had our Christmas Fayre.  We made chocolate wands and then sold them to raise money for charity.  We had fun eating the left over chocolates!

Yesterday we showed out Topic work ‘Past, Present, Future’.  We learned how to make a time line and placed photos along the time line in the correct order.  We decided to research the jobs we want to do when we leave school.  Then we worked out what age we would be and what the year would be when we qualify. On our time line we put someone from the past who did our dream job and learned about their lives. Then we made pictures of us doing that job in the future.

Our learning

We have been super busy in class and in Nativity rehearsals.   Here are some photos of what we have been up to over the last couple of weeks.

We continue to practise our times tables and make groups of cubes to help us  see what the times table looks like.

We have also been researching famous people for our topic and are going to put them into a time line. We practised making a time line using Mrs Dunnet’s photographs from when she was born in 1981 until 2018..
