The children who were in on Tuesday wanted a pic with the amazing janitor Steven. They will miss him over the holidays.

P3 have had a great year and they have all been achieving throughout the curriculum. There have been many high points and we have laughed lots together.

As a teacher I am SO proud of all the children and I wish them an amazing summer holiday!

On Monday we went to the local Gurwara.  This was part of our RERC learning about places of worship.  We showed respect when the scriptures were being read and enjoyed trying out the instruments in the education room.  Some of us even volunteered to have turbans created on our heads.

P3 are looking forward to sports day.  Our games start at 1pm and the traditional races start at 2pm.  We hope to see you there!!!

We studied Spanish Art today and created some mosaic art of our own.

P3 discussed the use of Rosary beads and some children brought in their own prayer beads called Misbaha or Tasbih.  We then made our own prayer beads and displayed them on our R.E wall.

On Friday we made a game at Craft Club, here is a picture of us  showing off our ball and cup skills.

This term our P.E topic is gymnastics. We have been practising different positions and moves. We are learning to follow instructions as well as looking for visual clues on the flash cards. Gymnastics helps us to become more flexible, fit and active. We really enjoy it.

This term we are expanding our knowledge of money. We have been looking at different coins and playing money based games. We created a mind map with all of our ideas for why we have to learn about money. We hope you like our photographs.

Today we had great weather and decided to take our learning outside.  We worked together to make obstacle courses and we had to risk assess.

Bilal found a ladybird and counted 2 spots on it’s back. He then found a safe place for it to hide.
