Whilst we were out bird watching today we realised the birds would only come near us if we were very still and quiet.
We turned this opportunity into the mannequin challenge…here is our video. We tried very hard not to move.
It is RSPB bird watching week. For our homework this week we have to look out for birds and keep a note of the ones we see. Today we took some more bird seed out in our school grounds to attract the birds. We spotted magpies, crows, pigeons and even a blue finch.
On Friday at our golden time art club we studied a painting by Van Gogh and replicated it. We think you’ll agree our paintings are fabulous!
We had a Judo instructor in school yesterday teaching us some moves.
We hung our bird feeders in the grassy area. We made sure they were up high to feed the birds and not foxes.
We learned how to make bird feeders because there isn’t enough food for them during winter.
We have been learning about friendships during Health and Wellbeing. On Friday we discussed how we may feel when we fall out with our friends and spoke about ways to resolve the situation. We then worked in small groups to perform a role play to the class.
We had a great time performing our dance routine with Barrowland Ballet to our audience on Thursday. Here are some photographs of us rehearsing and a short video of our warm up.

Today we were using our problem solving skills to design pom poms on a clown’s hat. It was very tricky as we could not make the same pattern more than once.

We had some time in the Open Area after working hard all day. We Learn to play fairly and use our problem solving skills to make things like jigsaws and cars. We even made a den for Moosa to fit inside! We also learn about money in the shop area when we use the till.
