School Dates 2025-26<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Nursery parents should also keep an eye on Seesaw for events as with our youngest learners we tend to be responsive and not all events are planned for the full year. Wednesday 11th<\/sup> <\/strong>– School and Nursery closed to children for inservice day \u2013 our PSAs will be sharing good practice, our Teachers will be working approaches to feedback and tracking and the pedagogy of digital learning. Our EYOs will be working of self evaluation and development of universal strategies to support learners.<\/p>\n

During Late February, you will have the chance to sign up for your Parent\u2019s Evening Appointment. Look out for the link coming home around 16th<\/sup>. If you don\u2019t sign up, you will be allocated a slot.<\/p>\n

Monday 2nd<\/sup> –<\/strong> Learning Partnership Visit \u2013 each year we invite other headteachers and education officers into school to support our self-evaluation work. This year the focus will be upon our development of a maths strategy. There will be opportunities for parents to come in and share their views. More information will follow but if you are interested, please save the date.<\/p>\n

Tuesday 3rd<\/sup> <\/strong>\u2013 P1-7 Parents Evening 5-7pm<\/p>\n

Thursday 5th<\/sup> <\/strong>\u2013 World Book Day. Please wear uniform. All children will take part in peer learning with a different age group.<\/p>\n

Wednesday 25th<\/sup> <\/strong>\u00a0– Sponsored Run \u2013 All spectators welcome \u2013 P1-3 at 10am, \u200bP4&5 1.30pm and \u200bP6&7 at 2.15pm. Pupil Council will choose the charity nearer the time. Children should come to school wearing running kit and trainers \u2013 no need for uniform.<\/p>\n

Thursday 2nd<\/sup><\/strong> \u2013 Last Day of Term 3 \u2013 Spring Service at Wormit Church at 9.30am. All P1-7 children will attend with their teacher unless you contact the school office to opt them out. All parents are welcome \u2013 please fill up the pews from the back. Nursery parents are welcome to bring their child if they want and then drop them off at nursery afterwards. Let the staff know they will be in late so that their lunch can be ordered.<\/p>\n

Friday 3rd<\/sup> April \u2013 Friday 17th<\/sup> \u2013 <\/strong>School and Nursery closed for Spring Holiday<\/p>\n

Monday 20th<\/sup> <\/strong>\u2013 First day of term 4<\/p>\n

All P1-7 children will work on the Theme of the Commonwealth Games in the first two weeks of term<\/p>\n

Monday 4th<\/sup> <\/strong>\u2013 School and Nursery closed for May Holiday<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Tuesday 5th<\/sup> and Wednesday 6th<\/sup> <\/strong>\u2013 Open Afternoons \u2013 3.15-4pm \u2013 all families invited into school to see the Commonwealth Games Displays<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Thursday 7th<\/sup> <\/strong>– School and Nursery closed to children for inservice day \u2013 our PSAs and Teachers will be working self-evaluation and School Improvement Planning. Our EYOs will be working on report writing and enhanced Child Protection Training.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Friday 8th<\/sup> <\/strong>\u2013 No uniform day \u2013 contribute \u00a31.50 if you can with monies raised going to school fund.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Friday 8th<\/sup> <\/strong>\u2013 P4-7 House Quiz. Theme \u2013 Commonwealth Games \u2013 many of the questions will be made up from the displays of learning around the school to encourage the children to engage with them on their tour of the school in class time and if they come to the Open Afternoons with family members.<\/p>\n

Tuesday 16th<\/sup> -Thursday 18th<\/sup><\/strong> \u2013 P7 \u2013 S1 Madras Transition Days \u2013 children get school bus and follow their S1 timetable \u2013 Wormit staff do not attend<\/p>\n

Wednesday 24th <\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 10am – Nursery Sports \u00a0\u2013 spectators welcome. If it rains, the back up is Thursday or Friday also at 10am.<\/p>\n

Wednesday 24th <\/strong>\u2013 6.30pm \u2013 P7 Show, each family can have 3 members attend. Nur-P6 children will see the show in school time.<\/p>\n
