PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT

In Valley Primary School parents/carers are regarded as equal partners in their child’s learning.  Through an active Parent Council, our parents/carers are involved in driving improvements forward.

Our Parent Association are proactive in organising successful fundraising events for the benefit of our children.  Their social events are instrumental in building positive relationships within our learning/family communities. Our partnership with parents/carers is strong, positive and supportive.  There is a culture of openness, honesty and collaboration.

We have a well-planned Transition Programme for our parents/carers with children in Nursery when moving on to P1 and also for our parents/carers with children in P7 when moving on to High School.
