Troubleshooting

For general troubleshooting, first follow these steps:

  • Check the iOS is up to date.
  • Close all apps.
  • Restart the device.

Problem with your device:

If your device isn’t working as expected, log via First Contact – search Transforming Learning iPads – for further guidance and action.


Problem with accounts:

Check which account is being used to log in and follow the guidance in the poster.

If still experiencing issues, log on First Contact – search Transforming Learning iPads.


Problem with an app:

  • Close the app using the App Switcher (swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause in the middle).
  • Remove the app via JAMF and reinstall.
  • If the problem persists, log on First Contact – search Transforming Learning iPads.

Guide to casting:

If your school has the appropriate SMART screen as detailed in the poster then you will be able to wireless share your iPad screen to your SMART screen.
