Transforming Learning Fife is on the road for the next few weeks as we get ready for deployment with our Discovery sessions.
On Tuesday, Hannah MacGregor and Gemma Sanderson were at Queen Anne High School with staff from the school, cluster primaries and surrounding schools.
Lots of questions asked and a chance to explore the iPad.
It’s starting to feel very real now and before we know it, we’ll be deploying!
On Thursday 13th March, Showbie visited Fife and we held an event to find out more about Showbie with 53 practitioners attending. Thank you to everyone who came along and asked questions to Showbie and the Transforming Learning Team.

This week, Hannah and Gemma visited the Primary 7s at Capshard Primary School with the demo iPads. The Primary 7s explored the iPads and experienced Apple Classroom, where Hannah and Gemma used the ‘lock iPads’ feature to draw attention and then opened the same app on all of the iPads in the class.

Cllr James Calder, Scottish Liberal Democrat Group Leader, said: “I am pleased that Fife is stepping up to provide 1:1 devices for our young people. As part of a modern education system, this technology will ensure that all pupils will have the equipment they need to thrive in today’s world. This will play an important role in improving attainment as well as developing digital skills required both in education settings and the wider workplace.”
