We’re letting our parents and guardians know that as part of our recent 1:1 iPad rollout, each student received an iPad charging plug.
We’ve recently identified a manufacturing issue affecting some of these plugs. To ensure everything works smoothly, we kindly ask that you stop using the current plug and send it back to school as soon as possible.
This a precautionary measure and replacement plugs will be issued as soon as possible. In the meantime, iPads can still be charged using the provided cable with any USB-C compatible plug.
We thank our local school communities for their continued support. All of those impacted are being messaged.
iPads are used in Fife schools to enhance learning experiences, improve digital literacy, and provide access to a wide range of educational resources. They offer interactive lessons and personalised learning opportunities.
