Transforming Learning Fife is on the road for the next few weeks as we get ready for deployment with our Discovery sessions.
On Tuesday, Hannah MacGregor and Gemma Sanderson were at Queen Anne High School with staff from the school, cluster primaries and surrounding schools.
Lots of questions asked and a chance to explore the iPad.
It’s starting to feel very real now and before we know it, we’ll be deploying!
Thanks to all the Transforming Learning team. I was at Balwearie this morning for their staff deployment and plenty support and assistance was on hand to ensure all iPads were set up.
This is just the start of a huge investment in our young people and staff. The same device for all will ensure there is equity in accessibility and learning for all.
This is not about replacing other forms of teaching but rather enhancing and building in technology to the journey. Evidence suggests that this will help in attainment and achievement and open opportunities for our ASN children and young people to access more learning resources.
The Transforming Learning team are a huge resource so I would absolutely encourage anyone who has questions or uncertainties about this as they begin to navigate the journey, to touch base with the team.
