5 January 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Wishing all our families a happy new year and a very successful 2026!\u00a0 We have a long and busy term of learning ahead (13 weeks!).\u00a0 \u00a0Our whole school Scots Poetry focus will kick off this week alongside our interdisciplinary learning theme of &#8220;Peace and Conflict&#8221;.\u00a0 Each class&#8217;s learning overviews will be shared with you next week.<\/p>\n<p>During the holidays Mrs Deacon and her husband welcomed a beautiful baby girl.\u00a0 Miss Sangster has now taken up post as full-time P5\/6 class teacher.<\/p>\n<p><em>Please ensure children attend school <strong>with a coat<\/strong> every day.\u00a0 We try to go outside at break and lunch daily regardless of the weather.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Dates for your diary up to mid-term:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>9 January &#8211; 5 &#8211; 5:30 pm &#8211; P7 Belmont Information Session\/ Q&amp;A @ school.<\/li>\n<li>23 January &#8211; 2:00 pm &#8211; P3 &amp; P4 Scottish Afternoon presentation to families.\u00a0\u00a0<em>Full details will be emailed to P3 &amp;
