We raised <strong>\u00a3312<\/strong> for children in need on Friday 19th November!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-290 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/tayportps\/files\/2021\/11\/Children-in-Need-300x173.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"173\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>The parent council<\/strong> has donated \u00a3600 to support development of our outdoor learning space (\u00a3400) and Room 7 \u201cThe View\u201d (\u00a3200). This week children will practise using our &#8220;Being cool at Tayport School&#8221; script. Please keep\u00a0an eye on our twitter feed for updates:\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/tayportps\">https:\/\/twitter.com\/tayportps<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We look forward to sharing our whole school learning around this very important subject next week.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Covid-19 Mitigations \u2013 <\/strong>Existing COVID-19 safety mitigations in schools are to remain for now, following advice from senior clinicians. Teachers will confirm party dates w.b. 6 December. Every child will also receive a small selection box from the parent council too.<\/li>\n<li>To support the parent council\u2019s great work they will be running an <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Adult and Children\u2019s Christmas Raffle from 1 \u2013 14<sup>th<\/sup> December<\/span> with the draw taking place live over the weekend of 18<sup>th<\/sup>\/19<sup>th<\/sup> .If you would like to donate please contact the parent council <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/tayportps\/parental-involvement\/parent-council\/\">click here for contact details.<\/a>\u00a0Prizes can also be dropped off at the school office (<em>please do not sent items in children\u2019s school bags<\/em>). Information on purchasing raffle tickets will be sent home shortly.<\/li>\n<li>School Christmas Lunch and Christmas Accessory Day [wear usual school uniform with a Christmas jumper or head band or\u2026] is Wednesday 15<sup>th<\/sup><\/li>\n<li>Each class will prepare and perform a Christmas song (linking to expressive arts curriculum) this will be recorded and shared online with our Tayport Community as a \u201cChristmas Cheer\u201d event on Friday 17<sup>th<\/sup><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Pupil Designed 2022 Calendars<\/strong> \u2013 The children have been busy preparing their designs for our school calendar fundraiser. The calendars will be \u00a36 a piece and we are ordering 150 to be printed. Details of how to order will be released shortly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>School Photos<\/strong> \u2013 Thank you for your patience while we investigated alternative options for school photos. After much consultation we have decided to stay with Tempest Photography as we are satisfied with their product and the level of PVG and GDPR. Currently, Tempest will only do group\u00a0photos outside, not individual.
