9 December 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Panto<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>Wednesday 11th or Thursday 12th December<\/strong> &#8211;\u00a0 Children should wear full school uniform <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">even if it is usually a gym day<\/span> for their trip to the panto.\u00a0 We will leave school promptly by 9:15am so please don&#8217;t be late!\u00a0 We have purchased a drink and a small sweet treat for all the children while at the Byre therefore no other drinks or snacks will be taken with us.\u00a0 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Usual school lunch arrangements remain in place on both days.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Parent Council Christmas Raffle<\/strong> &#8211; thank you for your support with donating raffle prizes and purchasing tickets.\u00a0 <strong>All tickets should be returned by Wednesday 11th.<\/strong>\u00a0 The raffle will be drawn on the evening of Friday 13th December.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Christmas parties &#8211; Wednesday 18th December\u00a0<\/strong> &#8211; children can come to school wearing party clothes however please remember that they will still be outside for morning break and lunchtime so usual coats\/ hats\/ shoes will be required.\u00a0 For P3-7 who will walk to and from the Larick Centre sensible footwear is a must!<\/p>\n<p>From August 2025<strong> Ferryport Nursery <\/strong>\u00a0will be offering 16 term time places alongside 14 AM or PM places with the current 49 week model.\u00a0 \u00a0All families who currently have children at Ferryport Nursery, who will continue for a further year in August 2025,\u00a0 are aware that they can apply for term time <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">if they wish<\/span>.\u00a0 Applications open Fife-wide on the 6th January 2025 and close 31st January 2025.\u00a0 It is advised to apply early if you are interested in the term time places.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fife Council &#8211; general permissions &#8211;\u00a0 <\/strong>Permissions for sharing photographs etc are normally extracted from your child\u2019s application form and are kept for the duration of their time at Primary School.\u00a0 However, as there have recently been updates to the required permissions gathered by schools &#8211; the wording in the \u2018Photographs\u2019 section has changed\u00a0\u2013 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">a decision has been made to renew all permissions so that we have clarity regarding what your wishes are, particularly for photographs.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0 If you have not returned the updated paperwork yet you will received a further email reminder.\u00a0 If we do not have updated paperwork for your child then they cannot be included in class photos or showcases of learning.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Panto &#8211;
