Homework<\/strong> starts this week, please remember we have “Meet the Teacher” this Wednesday 4th September – 3:15 – 4:15 pm. Last week we shared dates for the coming term\u00a0 click here <\/a>to review again.<\/p>\n

Please email your child’s class teacher [email addresses on the learning overview] to share if your child participated in the library summer reading challenge.<\/strong>\u00a0 We would love to share their success!<\/p>\n

Please remember that all Fife buildings including playgrounds are non-smoking<\/strong>, this includes the use of vapes.<\/p>\n

We have had an increasing number of children bringing in small firecrackers into school. I believe they are on sale at a local shop.\u00a0 Please can parents\/carers ensure that these are not brought into school.<\/p>\n

P1-3 Shared Starts<\/strong> – an email was sent out on Friday to invite parents\/carers to our planned shared starts.\u00a0 Please respond by 7th September.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately after school rugby<\/strong> for P4-5 is cancelled<\/strong> until further notice due to the coach being injured.<\/p>\n

October Camp offered by Active Schools:<\/strong><\/i><\/span><\/div>\n

We are delighted to inform you that Community use in Partnership with Active Schools will be running a holiday camp across the October Break for pupils in Primary 1 to Primary 7. Our holiday camps support children in having fun, making friends and being physically active.\u00a0<\/i><\/div>\n

The camp will take place from the 7th<\/sup>\u00a0to 11th<\/sup>\u00a0October, 9:30 to 12:30 at Madras College with a cost of \u00a330 for the week!\u00a0<\/i><\/div>\n

In order to improve our service and make the registration process fairer registration for the sessions wont take place until\u00a0<\/i>Monday 9th<\/sup>\u00a0September<\/i><\/b>. In order to book your place please email communityuse.madras@fife.gov.uk<\/span> on Monday 9th<\/sup>\u00a0September<\/strong>\u00a0with the subject heading Madras October Camp and the following information: Childs Full name, Date of birth, your contact email, emergency contact detail, Medical Conditions, Post Code and photo consent. Emails before this time wont be accepted. Community use will then be in touch with you regarding your place and to accept payment.\u00a0<\/i><\/div>\n

Here is some feedback your children gave us at our summer camp\u00a0<\/i><\/div>\n

\ud83d\ude0c\u00a015% of children were a little or quite anxious about attending the Activity Camp compared to just 1% feeling anxious the next day.<\/i><\/div>\n

Roadshows for family support around neurodivergence<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>NHS Fife is organising\u00a0three events<\/strong> across Fife for parents \/ carers and professionals to provide information around the supports and services available for families of neurodivergent children and young people.\u00a0 It is hoped that you can support these events through sharing this information with your staff and school community.\u00a0 \u00a0All are welcome to attend.\u00a0 click here for more information.<\/a><\/p>\n
