Please contact the office ASAP if this affects your child.<\/p>\n<p>Many of our P7s ran a successful <strong>house captain election<\/strong> campaign.\u00a0 The showed determination and resilience throughout the process. On polling day the successful candidates were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kinshaldy &#8211; Skye Burnett and Ivy Lennox<\/li>\n<li>Scotscraig &#8211; Maisie Barton-Coutts and Willow Joss<\/li>\n<li>Morton &#8211; Linden McDade and Evie Farmer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are participating in a\u00a0<strong>Rag Bag<\/strong> collection. Details are in the attached document.\u00a0 Uplift is on\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">25 September.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Remember to send in news of <strong>wider achievement<\/strong> either via Seesaw or by emailing the class teacher.\u00a0 Details were in this term&#8217;s learning overview:\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/tayportps\/learning\/class-information\/term-1-learning-overviews\/\">click here to view on website.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This week at learn to learn we will hear more about <strong>UNCRC article 12<\/strong> &#8211; all about respecting the views of the child.\u00a0 This is where the idea for our Making A Difference or MAD groups came from.\u00a0 We give children a voice in leading aspects of school improvement.\u00a0 Our first MAD meeting will be next week.<\/p>\n<p>There are concerns from the wider community regarding children&#8217;s behaviour at the Top Park by some pupils.\u00a0 An email has been sent to the main year groups where specific concerns have been raised.\u00a0 Over last weekend there has been some attempted fire related vandalism in our main playground &#8211; please can our school community contact the police if they see anything of concern.<\/p>\n<p>Classes will visit our local <strong>library<\/strong> either this Thursday or next.
