There is much to celebrate at St Patrick’s Primary. Our school is a welcoming, happy school where people are helpful, considerate and respectful of each other. The children are very happy and enjoy learning in our school and we are very fortunate to have such a dedicated team of teachers, teaching assistants and other staff who strive to ensure that every child is successful, confident and responsible, equipped with all the skills they need to continue on their future life long learning journey.

We work in partnership with parents and carers and very much value the support and contribution they make to school life. The school also enjoys a close partnership with St Patrick’s Parish in Lochgelly. Because home, school and parish work together, we are able to provide a happy, caring and effective learning environment, where expectations and standards are high. We have carefully designed our curriculum to develop thinking skills, creativity and spirituality, encouraging confidence and opportunities for children to be excited about learning and challenged to achieve their very best.   Our goal is clear and is summed up in our school vision which is “To ensure that we create a caring and positive ethos which is rooted in Christ’s teachings, to enable staff, pupils, and parents to work together to achieve the highest standards of learning, teaching and wellbeing.”  Our core values of “Ready, Respect, Safe and Love” are key to our school ethos.
