The\u00a0nursery has 1 playroom\u00a0for children from age\u00a03 to 5 where they can access a variety of different activities and resources.\u00a0 The room consists of our core provision such as a story corner, writing area, interactive whiteboard, music area, woodwork bench, sand, water, art\/craft and home corner.\u00a0 We also have a nursery garden where children are able to climb, explore, do gardening, build and run freely.\u00a0 The curriculum is provided through differentiated resources\/activities that enable children to learn through play.<\/p>\n
Our garden is a great environment to explore with loose parts, mud kitchen, bug hotel, swings, water wall and so much more to discover. We operate free flow play so your child can be indoors or outdoors as much as they choose and in all weather.<\/p>\n
We like to go out into our local community and visit the shops and caf\u00e9 and when it is safe to do so we will return to this more frequently. Our nursery like to visit the local co-op and we even do some recycling using the large recycling bins located in the co-op car park.<\/p>\n
We take part in block sessions of Beach\/Forest Kindergarten to explore and experience new environments outdoors. We hire the local mini bus to go to the beach in small groups.
