We also have been doing half an hour of reading independently each day to earn stickers for our BookFlix cards. We listened to some fairy tales and discussed how we could change the story to make them different to the traditional telling. As a class we voted to sing a song by The Proclaimers.<\/p>\n<p>In art this week we learned about Scottish artist Andy Scott to designed and make The Kelpies just outside of Falkirk. We looked into the stories of some mythical creatures and chose our favourite one. We practiced half past, quarter past, quarter to and o&#8217;clock and introduced some new phrases so the person we are talking to can determine if we are telling them the time in the morning, the afternoon or at evening as in France they do not use the phrases a.m or p.m.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RME<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We will be doing our God&#8217;s Loving Plan work in RME over the next few weeks so their won&#8217;t be any RME updates during this time. If you would like to know what we have been learning about, ask us at home and we will be happy to share with you!<\/p>\n<p>by Louis<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maths<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This week we have been working on fractions and using different strategies to convert them into decimals and percentages. We will be moving on with our understanding of fractions next week.
