Primary 4/5 New Blog Week commencing 20th February 2023

This week we have been learning about biographies and taking notes during interviews we practiced on each other taking turns being the interviewer and interviewee. Our reading is progressing this week we focused on fluency and we have been listening to each other read and giving supportive feedback and next steps so we can all improve together.

Tuesday was Pancake day as well as making our own we problem solved to construct our own pancake that would flip, we worked out the ideal size, thickness and shape and flipped them with table tennis bats showcasing our innovation.

We performed our songs to the whole school at Assembly next week will we take part in the Fife workshop at Rothes Halls. This week we learnt about popular bible stories and produced fantastic artwork. It was our turn for PE in the community centre we took part in a Space cadet fitness challenge and we were puffed out at the end.

We have shocked ourselves as we read book in a day Roald Dahl’s informative but funny guide to staying safe on the railways next week will we follow this style and produce our own Safety guides to Kelty.

We were excited to see our mouldy bread experiment results and compare results within the class. We discovered that we may need to brush our teeth a bit more as our tongues had lots of germs and mould growth.
