Active Schools 2021-2022
The Active Schools Coordinator for our Primary School is Hayley Smith. It is the role of Active Schools to provide opportunities for children and young people to participate in sport and physical activity, mainly within an extra curricular setting. Active Schools aim to encourage children to continue participation from within a school environment into a community setting.
As a primary school we work with Active Schools to create a school extra curricular programme offering opportunities for children to participate in sport and physical activity in an after school setting. Many extra curricular programmes are lead by parents.
