Primary 7 pupils will attend Beath High School as part of their transition programme.
Pupils should bring sports clothes, snack and a water bottle to school.

Dounans Residential Trip
Inset Day – 5th May
St. Bride’s RC Primary School will be closed on Thursday 5th May for local council elections, this day has been allocated as an Inset Day.

Dounans 2022
Ms Carroll from St Columba’s RC High School will lead a Parent Information Evening, on Teams at 6pm on Wednesday the 27th of April regarding the upcoming P7 Dounans Trip.
Confirmation 2022
Thursday 28th April at 7pm in Our Lady’s and St Bride’s Parish Church.
We are delighted that we are able to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation with Arch Bishop Cushley.
Here are the final points
- School uniform should be worn.
- Pupils should arrive for 6.50pm
- The sponsor should be over 16, Catholic, not a parent and preferably their Godparent.
- Each family will be issued a pew, the confirmandi should sit with their sponsor on the inside to the middle aisle. Additional seating will be available at the back of the church.
- The children will approach the alter with their sponsor one at a time.
- The children will be given a badge with their saint name on it.
- We will let the children know when it is time for them to go up.
- No photos during mass please. There will be an opportunity for the children to get a photo at the end of the Mass on the altar.
- No masks are required but may be worn.
We look forward to sharing this special occasion with our children and families.
