P1-2 Class Learning – August – October 2025/2026

P1-2 have had a great start to the year, it has been lovely to welcome the new primary 1’s into our classroom and, also watch the primary 2’s stepping up and giving a helping hand to our new pupils.

We have started the year with a focus on our phonics and descriptive writing and have enjoyed creating, drawing, and writing about our own monsters.

In numeracy the P1’s have been looking at counting, number formation, and shape, while the P2’s have been exploring working with larger numbers to 50 and North, South, East and West directions.

Our topic for this term is Around the World, and it has been lovely to see the children so excited to investigate different countries. We have begun our learning adventure by exploring France and Iceland and are looking forward to exploring many more countries in the coming weeks.
