Welcome to Sinclairtown Primary School

Our school is situated in the East of Kirkcaldy and is part of the Viewforth High School cluster group of Primaries. The School was built in 1932 and the accommodation is arranged in 7 double class areas around an internal quadrangle. The school sits in extensive grounds with hard and soft play surfaces and beautiful views across the River Forth.  We have recently upgraded our playground markings with the help of parent council funds.  This has enhanced our outdoor learning and play spaces.  We also have easy access to Ravenscraig Park and beach and our children have also enjoyed outdoor experiences at the local Galatown Hub.

Sinclairtown Primary School serves a varied catchment area with families living in private housing, local authority and rented accommodation.  The school has a very good reputation in the local area and we have a high level of placing requests, this session 41.5% of our school role live outwith catchment.

The school does not have its own nursery and most children in the catchment attend Gallatown nursery or the local private nursery, Daisy Chain.
