Rosslyn School is a positive, welcoming, and joyful environment for staff, families, visitors, and partners. Strong, nurturing relationships are central to our ethos and ensure that everyone feels valued, respected, and included.<\/p>\n

\n

Our Self\u2011Esteem Guidelines<\/strong> sit at the heart of our practice and underpin all interactions across the school. These guidelines ensure that our learners remain at the centre of every decision we make. In developing them, we drew on Maslow\u2019s Hierarchy of Needs to ensure we are meeting the fundamental needs of our learners so they are regulated, secure, and ready to learn. We have also aligned these guidelines with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), making explicit links to learners\u2019 rights and incorporating these principles into our everyday practice.<\/p>\n

Rosslyn School is proud to be a Bronze Rights Respecting School, and we are actively working towards Silver accreditation. As part of this commitment, each class selects specific rights\u2011based guidelines linked to a UNCRC article on a termly basis. This ensures a planned, progressive and meaningful approach to embedding children\u2019s rights within learning, teaching, and the wider life of the school.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
