Pitreavie Primary Parent Council

The PTC is run by parents, for parents, and the executive office is elected by parents. They are a fantastic support for our families and the committee play such an important role in our school community. They fundraise for our pupils and organise social events that contribute in advancing educational opportunities and resources for our children.

The PTC provides the book bags for new starters, pays for the ties as a parting gift to P7 leavers, has paid for the P7 Yearbook and has contributed to Christmas lunches and school discos. The PTC helped secure over £3500 for new sports equipment. They’ve organised the Christmas Fayre, supported the school’s Carols by Candlelight in the past. Plus, much much more.

The PTC are there for your children at the school, to act as a conduit to the school management, raise concerns and pass back important information and challenge the school if needed. It is a great social group and always looking for more willing parents to join!
