Any applications received after this date will be considered late and processed after the initial panel process.<\/p>\n<p>Every child is entitled to a nursery place from the first intake after their third birthday. That means:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Starting in August:<\/strong> Your child must be three before 31 August 2026<\/li>\n<li><strong>Starting in January:<\/strong> Your child must be three before 31 December 2026<\/li>\n<li><strong>Starting in April:<\/strong> Your child must be three before the last day of February 2027<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The session type offered at Pitcoudie Nursery is:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>6hrs Mon \u2013 Fri (Term Time)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Head to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fife.gov.uk\/kb\/docs\/articles\/education2\/early-learning,-childcare-and-nurseries\/preschool-and-school-nursery\">Fife Direct<\/a>\u00a0for more information. All applications must be made\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fife.gov.uk\/services\/form-pages\/apply-for-a-fife-council-nursery-place\">online<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h1 class=\"entry-title\">P1 ENROLMENT &#8211; Will reopen again 2027<\/h1>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>Parents and carers enrolling their child(ren) for Primary one or looking to request a place for their child(ren) at another school, which isn\u2019t their catchment school, for the 2025\/26 session can now do this quickly and easily online.<\/p>\n<p>Fife Council have a new online <a title=\"Enrol a child into Primary 1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fife.gov.uk\/kb\/docs\/articles\/education2\/schools-in-fife\/apply-for-a-school-place\/enrol-in-primary-school\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-refno=\"132373\">application form<\/a>,\u00a0 to make things easier for parents and carers.<\/p>\n<p>Applications to your child\u2019s catchment school, should be completed by registering your child by completing the online form before\u00a0<strong>15th March 2026<\/strong>\u00a0to allow school staff to review the information.<\/p>\n<p>Should you wish to make a placing request\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fife.gov.uk\/kb\/docs\/articles\/education2\/schools-in-fife\/apply-for-a-school-place\/making-a-placing-request\">click here<\/a>\u00a0for more information.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the online enrollment process parents\/carers will also be required to upload photos of verification documents in support of the application. These are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A copy of your child\u2019s birth certificate. You can also\u00a0<strong>order a birth certificate<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fife.gov.uk\/kb\/docs\/articles\/community-life2\/births,-deaths-and-marriages\/order-a-certificate\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>2 forms of proof that you live in the school\u2019s catchment area (for example, council tax notification form, utility bill or child tax credit form.) \u2013 If you don\u2019t have a paper bill, you can\u00a0<strong>download a copy of your council tax bill<\/strong>\u00a0from within your online account\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.northgate-nes.co.uk\/pls\/pwslive\/pam_user.std_oauth2.go?provider=603&amp;app=CAR&amp;context=FIFE:ENG:CT\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The council tax notification must be your most recent bill<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The utility bill must not be more than 6 months old.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>P7 Transition to High School<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our P7 pupils benefit from a programme of transition events in P7 to support their move to Glenrothes High School.<\/p>\n<p>P7 pupils have\u00a0three full days at GHS in the summer term where they follow a typical timetable, meet teachers and try out new subjects.\u00a0 However, our transition activities begin much earlier and include a range of events both in Pitcoudie and at Glenrothes High.\u00a0 Information about planned dates will be shared with Primary 7 pupils and their parents\/ carers.<\/p>\n<p>Please see link below regarding information on making a placing request.
