Support for Learning

Mrs O’Neill and Mrs Fell are our Support for Learning teachers.   They work with pupils, parents, teachers and our partner agencies to assess and meet the needs of all our pupils, including those with additional support needs.  Their roles include:

• Consultation with staff
• Information to pupils, parents and staff on strategies
• Individual planning and record keeping
• Contextual assessment
• Whole class support
• Small group work
• Accessing advice and input from our school partners
• Transition planning
• Managing assessment arrangements
