Please keep this guide handy so you can plan ahead for holidays and special dates.<\/p>\n<h3>\ud83d\udcc5 <strong>Term Dates<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><em>(All dates are inclusive)<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Autumn Term:<\/strong> Wednesday <strong>20 August 2025<\/strong> \u2013 Friday <strong>10 October 2025<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Winter Term:<\/strong> Monday <strong>27 October 2025<\/strong> \u2013 Friday <strong>19 December 2025<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Spring Term:<\/strong> Monday <strong>05 January 2026<\/strong> \u2013 Thursday <strong>02 April 2026<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Summer Term:<\/strong> Monday <strong>20 April 2026<\/strong> \u2013 Friday <strong>03 July 2026<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>\ud83d\udc69\u200d\ud83c\udfeb <strong>In-Service Days<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Paxton Nursery will be <strong>closed to children<\/strong> on the following dates to allow staff training and development:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monday <strong>18 August 2025<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Tuesday <strong>19 August 2025<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Friday <strong>14 November 2025<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Wednesday <strong>11 February 2026<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Thursday <strong>07 May 2026<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We appreciate your understanding as we use these days to enhance our practice and ensure the best possible learning experiences for our children.<\/p>\n<h3>\ud83d\udea8 <strong>Unplanned Closures<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In the event of severe weather or other unexpected circumstances, Paxton Nursery may need to close at short notice.<\/p>\n<p>To make sure you receive updates <strong>as early as possible<\/strong>, please register for school and nursery closure alerts through Fife Council:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fifedirect.org.uk\/alerts\">www.fifedirect.org.uk\/alerts<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Closure Alerts<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Choose <strong>School Closure Alerts<\/strong> and follow the on-screen instructions to register<\/li>\n<li>Once registered, go to <strong>Alert Services \u2192 School Closure Alerts<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Paxton Nursery<\/strong> from the list, then scroll down and click <strong>Save<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>You can then sign out<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Once registered, you\u2019ll receive a <strong>text message alert<\/strong> whenever there is an unplanned closure affecting Paxton Nursery.<\/p>\n<h3>\ud83d\udcac <strong>A Final Note<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>We recommend adding these key dates to your calendar to stay up to date with term times and closure information.
