Parent Council

Pathhead Primary School’s Parent Council has taken become an important part of the schools ethos.   Our Parent Council meet regularly to discuss issues relating to school life, policy, teaching and learning  including school, local authority and national initiatives. Our Parent Council represent the parent views on the issues of greatest importance to parents, to the school, local authority. We also discuss other topics raised by parents.

At Pathhead we aim to help parents to be:

  • Involved with their child’s education and learning
  • Welcomed as an active participant in the life of the school
  • Able to discuss any issue of interest to parents
  • A voice for parents, in schools and in their local authority, on issues that are important to them and their children
  • A contact between all parents and the rest of the school community
