P1 and Mrs Morrison

P1 have been working incredibly hard on their sounds. They have been using these to sound out short words and have started reading their first books in school.

For Burns day, they worked on 3 craws. They delivered a wonderful performance to the other classes.

P1 have also been looking at wonderful self portraits using classroom materials.

P1/2 and Mrs Fotheringham

P1/2 have their own special wall of recognition that features all of the fabulous work that they have been doing.

This term they have been exploring farms, self portraits and making excellent progress with their writing!

 

P2 and Miss McCowan

P2 explored Scotland, some fascinating stories about Loch Ness and the big monster than lives in there!

They began their topic reading Katie Morag stories!

They have used lots of hands on materials to make these beautiful Scotland flags and thistles!

 

P2/3 and Miss Kyme

P2/3 have adored learning about their local area and have linked this to maps and directional language! Great work P2/3!
