Term 2

We have designed a learning journey for decimals to help us know where we are in our learning and what our targets are. In this we will be focusing on sequencing, rounding and using the four operations with decimal numbers.

We will also be making links with measurement to provide real life context and problem solving opportunities.

Term 1

In numeracy we are looking at patterns and relationships. We will be finding well known number patterns such as square numbers, triangular numbers and the Fibonacci sequence and describing the rules for generating these patterns.

We are also learning about 3d objects, extending our knowledge and understanding of the properties of shape to draw and render in 3d using isometric paper and technology.
