We are rehearsing a song for Mr Campbell’s leaving assembly. He is a big Liverpool FC fan, so we have created our own version of a fan song. It is to the tune of Yellow Submarine.
In a town, where I was born
Lived a man who sailed to sea
And he told of his pride, they were a famous football team
So we trailed to Anfield Road, singing songs of victory
There we saw the Holy ground of our hero Bill Shankly.
We all live in a red and white Kop
A red and white Kop, a red and white Kop
We all live in a red and white Kop
A red and white Kop, a red and white Kop.
In the town where I was born,
Lived a man at Pitreavie
And he told us of his pride, to teach at the best, school for me
So we trailed to Pitcorthie Drive, singing songs of good bye
There we saw the Holy ground of our teacher Mr C
We all live in an orange and black top
An orange and black top, an orange and black top
We all live in an orange and black top
An orange and black top, an orange and black top
