In class we have been learning about China and the Chinese zodiac . We have started to do a stop motion animation depicting the Chinese zodiac story of the great race. We have been planning for a few weeks and have finally started to do the animating. We are intending to add our own music using mixcraft a music app we are just learning to use.
We have also been doing shadow puppets in art. We had to make the puppets, right now we are making the theaters for the show which we might perform to the P1’s either this week or next, it has been a work in progress. One of the groups has a lot of dragons and another was about a boy and a dragon who became friends. It has been really good fun working in our groups.
We have had to make them not too detailed but we are allowed to add some facial features. It has been a bit of a challenge but we are doing well. We hope to get them finished by the end of the week.
We have expanded our vocabulary with a few more ambitious words from The Hunger Games. These were:

- surly
- irredeemably
- mediocre
- banal
- ferocity
- gossamer
- anecdote
