Gas gas and gas

Mastered gas the devils bathe

The cans rattle as the gas comes

The boy yell and scram as they to not go for a pee

The troops rejoice as the masks are on

But poor old Tommy and bob the dog find peace in heaven

There’s guns blazing everywhere millions
Die every day.

We carry on because Britain

Is strong.

Stay together for ever and ever.

On the way home there’s men
Screaming.

In pain hoping that they will survive.

Some came out of the hospital
Some were not so lucky.

I was one of the lucky ones.

The Germans put us through hell and misery.

We won the war but it is going
To be hard.

Telling our soldiers family’s that they
lost There loved one has died.
