What a busy and exciting week we have had in Primary 6!<\/p>\n
We helped to run our school’s Target Zones event. There were lots of different activities, including basketball shooting, football shooting and shot put. We enjoyed taking part and encouraging others to do their best. We also completed a general knowledge quiz to earn points for our teams and took part in a variety of fun team games.<\/p>\n
Another highlight of the week was visiting Primary 1 to support our buddies during their first induction visit to school. We enjoyed helping them settle in and showing them around. We are looking forward to welcoming them properly after the summer holidays.<\/p>\n
To celebrate the start of the Women’s World Cup, each of us was given two teams in a class sweepstake. We will be carrying out daily tasks and challenges linked to our teams throughout the tournament. It has already helped us learn more about the countries taking part and the competition itself.<\/p>\n
We were also very proud to present our class assembly to the rest of the school and then to our parents and families. We shared some of the learning we have completed throughout the year, including our topics on Discrimination, World War II, the Euro Quiz, and Biodiversity. We worked hard to prepare and did an excellent job speaking confidently in front of an audience.<\/p>\n
The week ended with our annual Sports Day on Friday. Everyone showed great determination, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the events. It was a fantastic way to finish another successful week in Primary 6.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
