This week in school we learnt many interesting things. In PE we are learning to play hockey. On Monday we played a game where we had to touch all the cones with a hockey stick and ball. On Thursday we started playing a mini hockey tournament in our table groups.
On Monday we had to make our own PE games in our tables and on Tuesday we had to write instructions on how to play that game.
Going over to our topic of WW2 we made war propaganda posters on Tuesday. On Wednesday we were learning about the roles of women in WW2. We found out that women played a big part of helping to do jobs whilst men were out fighting in the war. They did jobs such as bus driving, fire truck driving, air raid wardens and land girls.
In Numeracy we started learning about volume in solid shapes and we learnt about the formula of volume which is just L times B times H or length times breadth times height.
On Thursday we were learning about particles and how they are in solids, liquids and gases. The particles in solids are tightly packed and can only vibrate and can’t move. The particles in water can move but they move in a certain patterns. The particles in gases, however, can move freely in all directions
